The Alexandria Beetles defeated the Rochester Honkers 10-6 tonight to complete a two-game sweep and win a franchise-record seventh straight game. Rochester was trailing 10-3 going into the ninth and nearly came all the way back. Rochester is now 14-12, while the Beetles improved to 16-12. Corey Jones went 2-for-5 with a the home run and two RBIs.
The Honkers play at Thunder Bay at 6:05 p.m. Saturday.
