MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota Vikings have announced the dates and times for their four-game preseason schedule.
The Vikings will kick off the exhibition season at San Francisco on Friday, Aug. 10. There they will face former star receiver Randy Moss, who signed as a free agent with the 49ers in the offseason.
The Vikings preseason home opener will be on Friday, Aug. 17, against the Buffalo Bills. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. Central time at the Metrodome.
They will round out the preseason with a game against the San Diego Chargers on Aug. 24 at the Dome and a game at the Houston Texans on Aug. 30.
The best chance for fans to see the starters play significant time will be in the third game against the Chargers.
