BUFFALO CENTER, Iowa — Authorities say a man has been wounded by the accidental firing of his gun in rural Buffalo Center in northern Iowa.
Winnebago County Sheriff Doug Jenson told the Mason City Globe Gazette that the man was target shooting with three other men late Sunday afternoon.
Jenson says the man was taken to a hospital in Albert Lea, Minn. The man is expected to survive his non-life-threatening wound.
The sheriff didn’t release the man’s name or other details about the shooting.
