ST. CLOUD, Minn. (AP) — A bailiff had to use a Taser to subdue a man who allegedly punched another man in a Stearns County courtroom.
The St. Cloud Times (http://on.sctimes.com/IpE9sA) reports the 32-year-old man was asking a judge for a court order protecting him against a man he claimed was harassing him.
When the judge dismissed the order and adjourned the hearing Tuesday, Sheriff John Sanner says the man who was seeking the order walked over to the man he claimed was harassing him and punched him twice in the face.
A court bailiff used a Taser to subdue the alleged attacker. Other deputies arrived and helped arrest him. He was booked into jail pending a court hearing.
