Holy Spirit School evacuated due to smell of smoke

Firefighters responded at 2:45 today to a report of a smell of smoke in a classroom at Holy Spirit Catholic School in northwest Rochester.

Firefighters said at 2:55 that there doesn’t appear to be a fire. They’re investigating.

The school was evacuated after a fire alarm went off. The classroom with the smoke appears to have been a computer room.

At 2:55, two fire engines were sent back to their stations because no problems are being found.
