• Political Notebook: Constituents will weigh in on Walz's vote

  What is most telling of Walz is his recent vote to reject the UN affirmed Goldstone report calling for independent investigations into war crimes committed by the Israeli army and Hamas.
  
  The House voted 344-66 to condemn the report which is also very telling of who controls our politians.  This is nothing new, this is just another reflexive response our politicians have to any criticism of Israel and Walz has learned to not offend the real power in Congress.

• U.S. is playing with lives in Afghanistan

  Internet war heros are a dime a dozen, most turn out to be army potato peelers.  If you want to fight the Afgans go right ahead, nobody is forcing you to stay here.  But please stop claiming you are protecting my freedom or my country’s freedom, you are not.  Iraq and Afganistan have never threatened me or my country’s freedom.  I feel sorry for the naive troops who have died or were maimed who were lied too and tricked into believing war propaganda.

• Austin anti-immigration rally flops

  Why is Israel never demonized by the mainstream masses for it’s racist immigration laws?  Only genetic Jews are allow to immigrate into Israel. “All non-Jew immigration must be prevented.” Is that hate?
