This isn’t going to do anything for anybody. Electronics in a motor vehicle are primitive at best. Somebody’s 13 year old kid can crack it.
Example, Everyone remember when GM put speed limiters on their cars in the 90’s? I think it limited the speed to 115mph. A bypass kit was available for a person to buy before the vehicles even hit the showroom floor.
Furthermore, most repeat offenders have “other” ways to keep driving a car. Most common way is they buy cheap cars, keep it for only a year and never transfer the title or have to license it. Another common way is they may buy a car and put the title under a friends name. So my question is, how do you install a device on a car the government doesn’t know they own?
Doesn’t anyone think outside the box anymore?

No better way to get that boot out of his mouth than to smooth it over with beer. Way to go Obama!, thanks for the speech that let us all know how stupid you think we all are.
Mrs. C,
For someone who is so passionate about passing the health care bill, One could only assume that you have something to gain by it? Would it be safe to assume you do not have health insurance? Or you have a minimum package because that is all you “believe” you can afford?
I hate having to pay my insurance bill every month too. Just like I don’t really like to pay my house payment. BUT! It is what RESPONSIBLE people do. By paying that bill every month, I have never had to pay a co-pay on doctor visits. Call my insurance company evil, but I think I will keep paying them. People need to realize that insurance is available to EVERYONE, the problem is that many chose to not be RESPONSIBLE and pay for it. Behind every have-not, there is a story as to why they are a have-not. Can’t save everyone, sorry, but trying to be real.
