What happens when the subsidy stops? Will the employer all of a sudden fork over twice what they were paying someone? Or will they let half of the employees go? Or will the employee have to take a pay cut?
02/17/2010 4:30 PMI grew up in MN, and have lived in WI for 10 years. I have always been more anti-Favre than anti-Packer.
That being said… I am thru with the Vikings. I am jumping on the Detroit Lions bandwagon. They have no where to go but up.
We need a national law requiring a 7 day waiting period on these dangerous weapons. Or better yet, we should ban aluminum bats. Let’s get the UN involved too.

09/21/2009 4:34 PMBut it is not “wild” game. These are farm raised elk. Granted, they are being shot like wild game, but they should be able to salvage the delicious meat. If they can’t give it to food shelves, I bet there would be many hunters willing to take a steak or two off their hands.
