• Obama has been silent on gun control

  If ‘Barry’ thought he could get away with it he would ban ALL guns outright...it is not in his best political interest to even think about gun control.  He has turned out to be America’s greatest gun salesman...just the thought of him coming into power has caused a huge increase in gun sales.  Imagine the response if he actually DID something in regard to gun control… The American people’s reaction (in the form of the big increase in the afore-mentioned gun sales) is proof positive of their determination to preserve all aspects of gun ownership-and the 2nd Amendment.  Obama and his cohorts are not blind.

• A portrait of Rochester

  …wonder how much of our Legacy Amendment dollars were directly or indirectly utilized for this ‘artwork’.  Hope it’s not an indication of things to come… Artwork is subjective depending on the viewers eyes/tastes.  But as you can see from the posters here most viewers (including me) were astonished that something like this could actually find its’ way into the PB.  If you or I placed one full page ad in the PB the cost would be significant...but 80 pages???  For this????

• Local GOP: John Wade considering bid to unseat Walz

  Republicans need to go back to being conservative.  Wade is not conservative enough-RINO is a close description.  He has name recognition here (as did Davis) but the district extends to the SD border-all rural.  Nobody knows him over there.  At this point Randy Demmer deserves a looksee in my opinion. At least he’s closer to what a conservative should be-and as MN House Minority leader has recognition-that include rural areas.  We gotta get back to the party roots again.  Wade isn’t the answer-he wouldn’t get the votes just as Davis didnt get the votes. It’s time for the Republican Party to start endorsing electable conservative candidates if they want constituents to vote for their candidates. It’s sad when Republican constituents have to vote outside their party because the endorsed candidate is a RINO and unelectable. The leadership in the party has dropped the ball many times in the past with their endorsements.
