  • Walz speaks with Century students about health reform, Afghanistan

I am surprised they didn’t show a picture of the big rock in front of Century High school that was defaced by the Young Democrats.  “Health care for all” is spray painted on the rock.

Not sure where the rock came from, so maybe it is the young dems rock to be defacing, which wouldn’t surprise me either.  That would further solidify the biased view of schools.

If I were a parent of one of those students I would ask the teachers to bring in someone with a conservative viewpoint.  Try to teach the kids fiscal responsibility rather than brainwashing them into thinking that everything should be equal and redistributed.

  • DFLers shouldn't think of suing Gov. Pawlenty

Mrs_C still not on that rocker of yours.  I understand we will disagree on this issue because you can’t admint when you are wrong.

So I will tell you one last time how it works and you will have to let it soak in, or move to a country that agrees with you socialist views.

My point is that this state collects plenty of it’s residents hard earned dollars.  When the private industry has revenue problems they downsize, why is it that the democrats think when times are though they should grow the government to tell us how to live?

My suggestion is to downsize those programs you speak of.  Then we have a balanced budget.  Then your revenue problem is solved and no increase on taxes.

Pretty logical solution.  If you agree feel free to get back on the rocker, otherwise looks like you will have to keep trying.  Or you could give up and hope P BO buys you a new socialist rocker.

  • DFLers shouldn't think of suing Gov. Pawlenty

Mrs_C, you are off your rocker.  Please provide some material backup to your claim that Minnesota has a Revenue problem.  Minnesota’s average tax burden per person of $3203 ranks 4th in the nation, while ranking 21st in overall population.  That tells me that the government is collecting more than their fair share of tax dollars.

Please explain why this leads us to a REVENUE problem.

Is there something wrong with being fiscally conservative?

What is the lawsuit going to solve?  Is that always the answer for the Dems?  If someone doesn’t agree with your opinion you sue.

This lawsuit lacks validity.  Please go back to the drawing board on this one and incorporate some cognitive thinking, therefore you would stop wasting the time of the producers of the 4th highest taxed state in the US.

  • Pawlenty abuses unallotment

Dear John and all other of the party of fiscal irresponsibility,

When I read Tina Liebling’s article about suing the Govenor for using the unallotment I thought she was joking.  Why would we waste more money, private or public, on filing a lawsuit that is not going to solve anything.

Then I considered the source.  Tina represents a party that does not bat an eye at a 1.2 trillion dollar healthcare bill, so what’s a few hundred thousand dollars on a pointless lawsuit.

Govenor Pawlenty’s use of the unallotment was made very clear to the legislators.  If the didn’t come to him with a balanced budget he was going to balance it!

John, I hate to ask, but when you look at your own financial situation do you go into the year knowing that you are going to spend more than you make?  If so, than you support the right people, just keep spending and wait for P BO and the rest of his followers to bail you out.

As for me, I still believe in capitalism and will keep working hard so the millions on welfare don’t have to.

  • Bail set at $150,000 for man charged in Sunday shooting

I am sorry, but was the shooting inside the bar?  I have a hard time believing that the bar is responsible for some “riff raff” shooting into a group of people.

Maybe we should have stricter laws on criminals, not the law abiding business men or gun owners.

The local establishments do more for the economy than the criminals do, why don’t we kick all the criminals out of the town?

Perhaps we let them shoot each other, kind of a social Darwinism?
